Some plants spend all of their time and energy to create a single flower beautiful enough to attract a bumble bee or two to help carry it's pollen to the next flower with the hope of creating seeds for the next spring to come. Look closely at these earrings and you can see the seed pods filled with the blooms of the next spring to be.

Pink coral fossil is at the heart of these earrings and are set in .999 fine silver frames with back plates and integrated ear wires of sterling silver. There are little stems topped with seed pods on the back side. 

The silver was given an oxidized finish that was knocked back on the stem and pods on the back and the front frame to bring the silver back.

*Materials: .999 Fine silver, sterling silver, pink fossil coral, oxidized finish, hand textured, soldered.

Dimensions: 2 3/8" long x 1/2" wide near the bottom

*Oxidization is not completely permanent! The pendant and chain will change in appearance over time, especially with daily wear. While it has received a chemical application of Liver of Sulfur as a surface treatment, it will wear off in the high areas over time causing a patina that is unique to the piece.
