Fight On - Bits Of Embroidery
Cross stitch embroidery is used on all kinds of Ukrainian clothing, costuming, housewares and other items. It is a major part of their heritage and is usually made in bright colours and intricate patterns.
I chose a traditional embroidery pattern to make a rolling mill plate. The plate was then used to imprint the pattern into sheets of sterling silver that were then used to create the jewellery.
Each pendant is uniquely different from the next depending on where it was cut apart from the larger pattern. Your pendants can be ordered with a high shine finish or with an oxidized finish to show the finer details in the pattern.
Pendants can be ordered alone or with an 20" sterling silver necklace chain. They can also be added as a charm to any bracelet upon request.
40% of all sales will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross Ukraine humanitarian Crisis appeal. http://www.redcross.ca
*Materials: Sterling Silver, Oxidized, 20" Sterling Silver Necklace Chains
*Measurements: On average each pendant is approx 5/8" sq with slight variations on each one.
After the initial pieces are sold, all following orders will be made to order.
*Oxidized finishes are not completely permanent! The colours will change in appearance, especially with daily wear. While your jewellery has received a chemical application of Liver of Sulfur as a surface treatment, it will wear off in the high areas over time causing a patina that is unique to each piece.
All Roxanne Brown Jewellery items come gift wrapped and ready for gifting.
