Dendritic Opal Necklaces

Two lovely little pendants to choose from in fine silver and sterling silver with perfectly randomly shaped Dendritic Opals. The transparency of these opals lets the black inclusions show through and the faceting lets them sparkle when the light hits them.

Each pendant comes with an 18" sterling silver necklace chain.

Gemologists use the word “dendrites” to refer to tree-like markings on a gemstone or rock. When an opal or any gemstone displays tree-like inclusion patterns, gemologists call it a “dendritic” variety of that stone. In the spiritual community, dendritic opals hold potent magical properties, often used for healing physical, emotional, and spiritual ailments.

*Measuring: 3/4" long x 1/2" wide

*Oxidization is not completely permanent! The earrings will change in appearance over time, especially with daily wear. While it has received a chemical application of Liver of Sulfur as a surface treatment, it will wear off in the high areas over time causing a patina that is unique to the piece.
