Queen Elizabeth Memorial Necklace

With the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, I wanted to make something to memorialize her life. Her time in this world has meant something different for each of us and we are all grieving in our own way. For me, making this pendant was cathartic. I have only ever known a Queen in my life and it will be at least another 2 - 4 generations minimum before we may ever see another Queen and definitely not in my life time.

I chose this picture of the Queen - EQUANIMITY, as it is one of my favourite. The photographer is Chris Levine, 2004.

Long Live The King.

The pendant is polished smoothly and then hand stamped with a crown at the top and the dates of her life at the bottom separated by a star. A faceted rose cut African Amethyst, the colour of royalty, is set on the pendant.

On the back side is a flower printed heart with my hallmark and a small heart bail at the top.

A 20" sterling silver necklace chain is included with the pendant.

Materials: Sterling Silver, African Amethyst, 20" Sterling Silver Necklace Chain.

Measurements: 7/8" across x 1 1/8" long from the top of the bail.
